The Spanish company, which specialises in engineeringand flight simulation, has already delivered two Boeing 737-800 simulatorscertified by Spain’s State Aviation Safety Agency (AESA), and has now secured acommitment for a new FNPT II based on the Tecnam P2006T NG.

Lasa Dynamics is pressing ahead with its goal of giving flight schoolsand pilot training organisations access to high-quality simulation devices thatare reliable, affordable and designed to operate over the long term.

The company has developed its own simulation architecture, conceivedfrom the ground up to deliver greater technological control, modularity andscalability. Lasa Dynamics positions itself in the market as a manufacturer ofits own devices, covering the full development cycle, from engineering andhardware through to software, flight models, validation systems, certificationprocesses and subsequent technical support.

Gen738, the Boeing 737 simulator

The Gen738 by LasaDynamics is a simulator based on the Boeing 737-800, with a MAX versionavailable, of which two units are already certified as FNPT II MCC by AESA. Thefirst, installed at Top Aviator (Marbella, Málaga), was certified in 2025. Thesecond has just been certified for the Burgos-based flight school FlyBy, whichoperates it at the University of León Simulation Centre. According to FlyBy’straining managers, “the device has proven to be a reliable, well-designedsolution, with a level of fidelity that exceeds the minimum certificationrequirements.”

The simulator features a full FMS (Flight Management System) consistentwith the real aircraft’s operation, high-fidelity Boeing 737 procedures, directprojection of up to 210 degrees of visual field in 4K, and an in-house runwaylighting system (LightPath) based on real photometric parameters. Its designalso prioritises standard commercial components, which guarantees theavailability of spare parts without depending on a single supplier.

The device has a promotional starting price of 379,000 euros for ordersplaced in 2026, with an estimated delivery time of eight months.

A new Tecnam P2006T NG simulator

The fullest expression of Lasa Dynamics’ own simulation architecture, this new FNPT II based on the Tecnam P2006T NG is already under development, aimed at the needs of multi-engine and general aviation training.

This simulator has been designed and is being developed entirely on LasaDynamics’ proprietary suite at the company’s own facilities, with in-househardware and software. Among other features, it includes a powered TO/GA(Take-off / Go-around) function, full simulation of the Garmin G1000 NXi and ofthe GI 275 with touchscreen functionality, a full-scale 1:1 flight deckreplica, a visual system with 210 degrees of field of view, high-fidelityhardware systems, top-tier industrial electronics, models tuned to realaircraft data, and an Instructor Operating Station (IOS) with an optimisedinterface.

The first unit is scheduledfor delivery and certification in the second quarter of 2027.

The promotional price for orders placed during 2026, starts at 129,000euros, with an estimated delivery time of eight months from the order date.

In-house technology

Lasa Dynamics develops every layer of the simulator in house, from theflight, engine and ground-handling models through to the avionics, theinstructor station and the debriefing station. It also develops the datarecording software with which it runs its own flight test campaigns, which iswhat allows it to tune its models against real aircraft data.

And that technology does not only power its own devices: LightPath, itsrunway lighting simulation software, has already been used in seven certifieddevices, both its own and those of other manufacturers, across five countries:Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Turkey and Spain.

“In aviation, innovating within the rules isthe real challenge”, says José Ramón Lasa, CEO of Lasa Dynamics. “We build software from scratch with amethodology in which every line of code stems from a specific technicalrequirement and generates its own validation: today that adds up to more than5,000 automated tests. That would have been impossible three years ago withoutlarge teams of people. It gives us an agility and a reliability that otherscannot replicate without starting over, and it frees up resources to go farbeyond the minimum fidelity the rules demand”, Lasa continues. Heconcludes: “Our goal is to offer pilottraining organisations comprehensive, affordable solutions without giving upengineering quality, simulation fidelity or the ability to evolve the product”.
